- 描述： Born 1891 at St. Jean de Braye France [see no.l], the oldest of three children, his father was the town carpenter. Henri was a clever student with a special talent for languages. A scholarship won at age 15 took him to England and another the following year took him to Germany. He became fluent in these languages and also Russian. It was intended that he find a career in business but he had always had an interest in drawing and in 1910 he went to live in Paris where he decuded to be a sculptor.
