【摘要】The western literature has shown the world the profound influence of writing styles in the Ancient World through the masterpieces of the subsequent famous writers.Most of the works in this period contained mythical elements.Based on western history and culture,this paper presents the historical and cultural background of the Western Ancient World and discusses famous works with mythical elements in this period,in order to prove mythical writing play an important role in the western literature.
