【摘要】As an oil painter growing up from the 1980s in China, Xu Li has approximately experienced three layers of artistic exploration. The first layer is “the baptism through modernism art”, while the second one is “returning back to Chinese traditional arts”. The third also the deepest level, is “making in-depth study on imagery oil paintings”, which contains Chinese core artistic spirits of harmony. 作为从上世纪80年代成长起来的油画家,徐里的创作历程既经过现代主义艺术的洗礼,也经过民族艺术传统的回归,而他所确立的意象油画探寻方向,可能更深层、也更接近中国文化的本原;他通过书写性笔线所达到的物我合一、所承载的格调与境界,真正凸显了意象油画以文心诗境作为其内核的中国艺术精神。
