【摘要】Ran Jinsong was born in Guizhou Province in 1963. He contemplated a lot during his four year's university study. He read a lot of philosophy hooks and had a deeper study on advanced mathe matics. He had completed a great stride over the macro of philosophy, rational of mathematics to the search for the artistic spirit. In the works of Ran. the most interesting thing is ncither subject nor techniques, but is his rare curiosity on the realism. He has almost triedevery styles of the realism: classical, surrealistic, surrealism, and even those which has attracted no interest of other painters. Here Ran shows his surprising integrity by his works.Judging from his styles, we can divide Ran's works into three sections: surrealistic, lyric realistic and classic realism. The interest for the style pluralization and the search for the concept meaning show us that Ran's art experiment is in a state of vitality and vigor, In his words:Only frontier can enable the art's experimentalism and acute contemplation.
